NASA will host its inaugural aerospace expo and air show, MAX POWER, from November 6 to November 8 at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The event will feature new aircraft, autonomous vehicles, and technologies representing the future of air and space exploration.
Event Highlights
MAX POWER will include a display of NASA’s quiet supersonic X-59 aircraft, along with Moon rovers and various spacecraft from agency partners. The expo follows the recent Inspiration Tour, which involved numerous flyovers to showcase NASA’s aircraft fleet. Gates will open for public events at 9 a.m. EST on November 7 and 8.
During the weekend, attendees will have opportunities to meet NASA leadership, astronauts, and engineers. A significant highlight will be a news conference at 5 p.m. on November 7, where NASA will provide updates on its Moon Base project, the first long-term human outpost near the lunar South Pole.
Media Participation
Media credentialing for MAX POWER has closed, but approved media can request interviews in advance. Limited space will be available for the news conference, which will also be accessible virtually. For interview requests or details, media representatives are directed to contact Lauren Low in NASA’s Headquarters newsroom.
